Kitchen Remodel in North Salem, NY

White raised-panel cabinets and green granite counters set the tone in this kitchen. A multicolor slate tile backsplash runs along the walls, with a stainless hood over a professional-style range. A second run of white cabinets with a granite top faces the cooking wall, and wood floors run throughout.

The sink wall sits under a wide window, with a double stainless sink and a dishwasher beside it, and a small built-in desk fills the corner past the counters. The breakfast nook has windows on two sides, a round table and a lantern chandelier. Blue-gray walls and white trim tie the nook to the kitchen, so meals, homework and cooking share one bright space.
