Kitchen Remodel in Pound Ridge, NY: Gray Kitchen and Dining Built-Ins

This kitchen pairs gray painted cabinetry with a walnut island topped in dark stone and lined with metal stools. A professional range sits under a stainless hood against a stone backsplash. Open shelves on brackets hold everyday dishes along one wall, and a painted checkerboard floor runs underfoot.

Next door, the dining room carries the same gray paint onto floor-to-ceiling built-ins with glass shelves for stemware and closed cabinets below. A round table sits under an iron chandelier on wide plank floors. Keeping the color and trim the same in both rooms makes them read as one connected space.
